Serendipity Necklace

Serendipity: the occurrence and development of events by chance in a happy or beneficial way.

This gorgeous sterling silver pendant began as a ring attempt gone wrong at one of my jewelry making workshops. All was not lost though, as a new ring in the correct size was created and the "mistake" was turned into a simple and elegant everyday piece that moves with your movement and just feels right in every way! Perhaps my friend was onto something when she told me this piece reminds her of "the glass is half full" concept of optimism!  

We could all use a bit of optimism these days!  Just remember:  when your plan does not go as planned- when you need to pivot, repurpose, and get creative-  open your mind to new possibilities and beautiful things can happen.  

Designed, shaped, soldered, polished and packaged by hand in my little seaside studio near Peggy's Cove, Nova Scotia.  Packaged using eco-friendly recyclable and reusable materials.
